We moved in feb and it was cold on a night but not freezing. We have purchased quilts and duvets from Ikea in Murcia, a 30 minute drive from hurchillo. You can purchase these at Carrefour in Torrevieja as well but Ikea is very cheap and plenty of choices. Be careful with quilts etc from Ikea as these are slightly different to English sizes, probably best to purchase all there. Lessons learned by us. We purchased an oil filled small portable radiator for about 30 euros and a halogen stand up heater for about 20 euros which we found more than adequate.
